This 2018 hatching season has been a great one with increased fertility and hatch rates. Many have reported 30% plus hatches with our shipped hatching eggs this year and that is what we get here. That is much improved as their fertility and reproduction is known to be reduced from inherent factors. Having many small flocks seems to be a factor. Majority of Blue eggs have been supplied for increasing the tendency for better future blue egg genetics. Just having Roosters that are hatched from blue eggs is a great benefit.
Because sales of started chicks and mature birds are very time consuming and difficult to explain to prospective customers, these services will not generally be offered. Shipping in Hot weather with “One of a Kind” birds is a cost beyond the already expensive Express shipping.
PLEASE KNOW “HATCHING EGGS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN EVER WE HAVE THEM” with no price change and we still only have the two strains of Araucana Chickens here, “My pure bred 45 year strain” and a “Black Feathered Show Hybrid Strain” that I also provide, they are easy to tell apart and not mixed here. They are different and both strains have been bred to carry Ketro tailed types in some flocks to balance tail-less factors while keeping each strain pure.
